So I began by blowing up a photo I saw online to full size. I used this photo to create a template and a frame. I then used some extra spruce I had from a guitar for a top. I did some fan bracing. The top was thicknessed down to less than 1/8" thick using a plane. I had extra imbuia for the back and that looks nice with the spruce top. Sides were thicknessed down to 3/32" using a plane and bent using a propane torch into a cast iron pipe and soaking the wood before bending.
